Please consider this correspondence as a letter of recommendation for ANDRUS & ASSOCIATES for lighting design and consulting.
We have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Andrus on several projects. I have found his designs and specifications very logical, well throughout out, and easy to interpret. As a vendor we are able to put together a more competitive bid which is complete and comprehensive. For example, we have never had to request a change order from the owner on any of the projects specified by ANDRUS & ASSOCIATES. Although we are not their only vendor, I have always found ANDRUS & ASSOCIATES to be fair, honest, and to work in the best interest of his clients.
We have been the lighting supplier for the following projects designed and specified by ANDRUS & ASSOCIATES Lighting Design and Consulting:
· WXIX - Cincinnati, OH: News Studio for progressive Fox Station. Mixture of Tungsten and Fluorescent sources with complete rigging, power distribution and lighting control systems.
· KTSM - E Paso, TX: Weather Matte using Fluorescent Lighting.
· KCRG - Cedar Rapids, IA: News Studio using a mixture of Fluorescent Lighting (Balcar and Kino-Flo) and Tungsten sources.
· WRGB - Albany, NY: News Bureau with Daylight Flourescents to balance with ambient Daylight from the window scene in shot.
ANDRUS & ASSOCIATES is a progressive designer who, unlike many others, is comfortable and well versed with the new technologies involved in lighting for video production. I can recommend him as a consultant and designer for your new facility without hesitation. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of further service.

Dear ANDRUS & ASSOCIATES
Thank you very much for your recent work on the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon. As always, the lighting looked great and the client was extremely pleased.
I know that it was quite a challenge to design and supervise the lighting layout and power distribution in locations not designed for the needs of television. Both Directors commented to me afterwards about both your lighting design and your hard work.
I am also happy to note that both jobs came in under budget, and we have passed the savings back to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
I appreciate your dedication and time, and look forward to working with you on our next project.
